Natalie du Toit is a South African swimmer, born on January 29, 1984, in Cape Town. She is widely regarded as one of the most successful and inspirational Paralympic athletes of all time. Du Toit began her professional career as an able-bodied swimmer before a motorcycle accident led to the amputation of her left leg. Despite this, she continued her swimming career, achieving incredible success in Paralympic games and even qualifying for the Olympic Games.
