Richie McCaw is a retired professional rugby union player, born on December 31, 1980, in Oamaru, North Otago, New Zealand. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest rugby players of all time. McCaw began his professional career with Canterbury in the National Provincial Championship (NPC) before moving to the Crusaders in Super Rugby in 2001, where he won multiple titles, including four Super Rugby titles.
McCaw is known for his strength, speed, leadership ability, and versatility. He has won numerous individual awards, including World Rugby Player of the Year titles, and holds multiple records, such as the most capped player in rugby union history.
