Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport where two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding the ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since 1964.

Volleyball demands speed, agility, strength, and strategic teamwork. The game is highly competitive and physically demanding, with matches often going on for hours.

Indoor Volleyball

Sitting Volleyball

• Paralympic Sport: A version of volleyball for disabled athletes. Players must have part of their body in contact with the floor when they hit the ball.

Footvolley

• Beach Game: A sport from Brazil that combines aspects of beach volleyball and football. Players are not allowed to use their hands and arms.
